I've been bowling at Harbor Lanes on and off the past 20 years and seen quite a few changes over the years. But for the most part I think its good. The 2 older negative reviews from 9 months before are totally incompetent; they don't know what they're talking about whatsoever and sounds almost like off-topic spam. However, I can kinda understand Eric's concern with not enough oil for league practice and a bad staff member. For the most part, I have never had a problem with staff (under current "Strike Zone" ownership, that is.....), maybe it was an off night perhaps........... And usually the lanes don't seem that dry- compare to Thunder Bird Manahawkin which is consistently bone-dry. But normally the staff is always awesome, especially Deb. Yeah the pin action is so-so compare to other bowling allies and maybe the lanes could be kept up a little better. Case in point, I was a little disappointed in my lane as one shot the rack dropped right after I threw the ball. The fairly new staff person, assuming it was my fault, said "you should look next time." (He wasn't watching til the ball smacked the rake.) He wasn't too bad otherwise but perhaps this is the guy Eric Bunch is referring to. Otherwise, for $2 games on Wednesdays and overall reasonable rates compare to most other bowling allies, I can't really complain!!!!!!

Gotta be the best alley in Atlantic county. I go here often and I've had great experiences. I tried King pin but the lanes were super greasy and I had less control of my ball. Plus strike zone has pizza guys pizza which is really good.
No oil on the lanes what so ever. I had to loft it every single time so I could make it down the lanes. Very dirty. I would NOT recommend
