Not huge on the wine here. Blueberry champagne is unique. Zero cell service, so if you have a Groupon take a screen shot or print beforehand. I hear it's a nice golf course. Joseph's Restaurant was good with friendly staff and service. Beautiful historical setting. The wine just tastes "dated" to me.
We stayed in a room with a king-size bed and a balcony. The room was beautiful and the entire premises are very rustic and quaint feeling. Take the wine tour when you're there. Our guide was knowledgeable, super friendly and the history behind Renault is fascinating!
Beautiful scenery delicious food and winery tour with gift shop. Then after the winery tour we head down to Atlantic City for a show and gambling. Must vist

BEST KEPT SECRET!!! My boyfriend and I did the 5 night extended getaway July 2017. For $80 a night, you couldn't beat that! Everywhere else we looked was upwards of $200 a night being it was the summer at the Jersey Shore. It wasn't too crowded when we stayed so the whole experience was cozy & romantic. The hotel was beautiful, like stepping into another world and out of reality - the decor was breathtaking and the rooms were spacious & well lit. To those who say it is outdated - that is part of the whole experience. Pool area was beautiful. There is a dimly lit patio off of the lobby which makes for a great space to relax with some wine and cigars at night. Made some new friends there too. Matt - the concierge was friendly, funny and very helpful. The restaurant was great with tasty food and even better service. We had Joe as a server every meal and he was attentive & friendly. Being a hotel restaurant, we were quite surprised at the amazing quality of the food & menu options. The wine tour was short & sweet, topped off with great wine at the end. The winery is breathtaking. I think the fact that we were only 1 of maybe 3 couples there made our whole stay more intimate, but the scene was set by this beautiful hotel. It's so nice to know there is a hotel near everything but away from all the hustle & bustle of Atlantic City & the busy beaches. At night it is so nice to sit outside and listen to the crickets & silence after a day at the beach etc. We would recommend this 100x over again & we'll definitely be back VERY soon!!!
